Food & Drink

We’re proud to bring you the very best independent food and drink providers to ensure that everything you try is as amazing as the beautiful setting. You’ll be able to enjoy it all from when our festival doors open until late.

Drink

We are extremely proud to have Siren Craft Brew back as our official beer partner.

Siren have been making forward-thinking, tasty, and consistently high-quality craft beer since 2013, picking up awards like Best Brewer in England and CAMRA’s Champion Beer Of Britain.

In Greek Mythology, Sirens lured sailors with their magical songs. With their impressive beer, beautiful artwork, and sense of adventure, we think you’ll be tempted by Siren Craft Brew too.

The Festival Bar in the Chapter House at the heart of our festival site. We will be selling a selection of Siren’s award-winning beers on draft, along with their canned beer plus cider, wine, cocktails, spirits, non-alcoholic beverages, and more.

Reusable Cups

We our proud to demonstrate a high level of environmental responsibility at Down at the Abbey, since the very first event in 2019.   We feel we all have an important role to play towards the environment.   The festival does not use any single use plastic for our serving cups, or sell any items in plastic bottles.

We wash and reuse all our cups and do not send any to landfill.  At each event day, you pay a one-off, £1 cup hire on your first drink on an event day. You then exchange your cup back at the bar for your next clean cup. Please return your cup back to the bar at the end of the evening for washing and reuse for the next event.

You may bring your own reusable pint cup (cup must be marked/standard UK measure) with you if you wish, but these cannot be washed for you (cleaning is done off-site from the Abbey Ruins).
