Catgod is the musical project of Oxford-based sibling duo Robin Christensen-Marriott, Cat Marriott, and band, Casper Miles, Patrick Bolton, George Purnell. Inspired by and recalling luminaries such as Portishead, Elliott Smith and Fairport Convention by way of the characterful vocal melodies, the soaring soundscape will take you on a ride along the twilight path, to take a seat at the after-hours ‘vampire jazz’ bar.
Catgod has charmed crowds at Truck Festival, Ronnie Scott’s, Common People Festival, Ritual Union Festival. and have received acclaim from the likes of The Line of Best Fit, Lauren Laverne, Don Letts, and Tom Robinson on BBC 6Music. Their upcoming album ‘Born Again’, due for release this year.
